Along with this, each of the eight songs on this disc, some of which are divided into multiple movements, is explained in great detail. I usually don't listen to, or really like prog rock, but this CD completely blew me away. In the past couple years it's become increasingly difficult to find good instrumental music, let alone good music in general. If the wailing guitar solo at the end doesn't devastate you, then you're not breathing. You will hear instruments, breaks, melodies, not overpower.
TETRAFUSION — Absolute Zero
August 12th Reviewer: This album is a varied retrafusion of experimental and progressive metal filled with some jazz and classical flavor. I would like to recommend this album for absolkte fans of instrumental prog metal as one of the most interesting debuts and one of great new band's album, released in The complexity of the music is insanly intriguing.
All-instrumental album, having some fresh sounds and musical constructions, in fact is modern version of progressive metal more than post-metal band. It sounds very mathematical perhaps, but unlike many instrumental prog bands, Tetrafusion's songs are absolutely listenable and painstakingly well composed. Definitely worth listening to, no matter what your favorite type of music is.

Starting with the plus-minute "The Beginning," the album takes on a fusion zefo fluid, articulate guitar and keyboard parts built around a bass-centric drive. The album depicts the life of the universe from beginning to end via the form of instrumental music. Everything I like in music is here: Alternating between passages filled with symphonies of riffs and piano-supported melodic interludes, the song turns into the soundtrack of the apocalypse.

I usually don't listen to, or really like prog rock, but this CD completely blew me away. It is informed by constantly ascending and descending melodic patterns.
Visit Our Friends At: The use of cello and piano on "Dark Matter" helps establish a more laidback yet emotionally engaging context while tetrafusioj transition from the soft acoustic passages to the fierce, head-spinningly agile guitar work on "Energy" contributes to the diversity of Absolute Zero.
Could be really interesting work. But, Tetrafusion's debut album, Absolute Zero, could change that.
